Surgery went well. I have 6 stab wounds, plus the drain incision. I guess my surgeon encountered a lot of adhesions from past surgeries, which I kind of expected. He also found that I have a hernia up high, just below my breasts. He didn't fix it, said it will need to be discussed with my PCP. I will have to ask more questions when I am more lucid!So there was a LOT of pain for the past 3 days. Then, last night, I took a dose of Roxicet and climbed into my own bed, something I didn't expect to be able to do based on the time I spent with physical therapy. I ended up having a very restful, pain-free sleep! And I feel so much better today. I was up and showered by 4:30 (just because I was awake ... probably from sleeping so much yesterday).
Well just wanted to check in. Now I'm going to reveiew my stage I eating plan to make sure I am on track.
