3 Months !!!

Three months ago today-at this time I was being wheeled in to surgery.  Wow...time flies.  I didn't ever think that I would get over the soreness and aches/pains that I had those first 2 weeks.  Many times I thought...what did I do to myself?  Will this really be worth it?  YES- it was all worth the aches and complaints.  I'm down 60 pounds...only taking 1/4 of my BP medication, no longer have to take a handfull of ibuprofen just to make it to work,  no longer a diabetic and most importantly.....I FEEL GREAT.  I still struggle with getting in all my protein and water...but for the most part I'm on plan.  I can eat just about anything...I've had 2 dumping episodes...one on fried food and the other on a baked potato with lots of margarine.  Apparently my my pouch doesn't like oils/fat.  Although- it likes SWEETS ....of course no problems with any of that.  I'm shedding worse than my dog!!!  I have piles of hair on my bathroom floor every morning.  It's a good thing that I have plenty of hair to spare....it's scary!  I'm looking forward to some nicer weather so I can get out and walk in my neighborhood.  I go to the Y..twice a week...but I need to increase that to 3-4.  Until my next post...take care and be blessed.
