UGH!!!!
Jul 30, 2012
So my gastrib bypass has to be revised with a lap band because it has stretched. UGH! I hate that I gained a TON of weight back. My surgery is scheduled for 8/17 and I can't wait to get it done. I went from 345 (before my gastric bypass) to 165 (my lowest weight) and now back up to 265 (current weight). I know I can do this, I can't wait!

Moving Along

It has been a little over 2 months since my surgery and I am down 61 lbs. I think at this point I am getting a little frustrated becuase my weight is going down, but my body is staying exactly the same. No change in clothes size at all. I take pictures every other week or so and I can't see a change in the pictures either.
Next week I start the bariatric wls rehabiitation program at HUMC. I am hoping that will make some sort of change. This is getting so frustrating!

I met with my doctor this past Thursday and he said everything is looking good and I am ahead of schedule weight-wise. He told me that usually people in the first month lose 20 - 30 lbs., and I had lost 35 lbs. I did my weekly weigh-in at home yesterday and I was down 41 lbs. I am so excited. I just wish I could start seeing some changes in my body and the way my clothes fit. I guess htat will all come in due time!
The Beginning

My starting weight was 345lbs. I had my surgery on April 30th and so far, so good. The only problem I have had is the pain. I had my frist weigh-in on April 10th and I was already down 21 lbs.
