7 Days 'Till Surgery

So.....yeah. Sigh.
I am so anxious my IBS has kicked in full force. I am popping Prevacid like it is candy, (I know, I am a nurse I know better) but my GERD and IBS are on full throttle. It is like a flipping volcano in my stomach and it keeps erupting into my throat and out my ass. Good ol' stress. I just wished the 17th would hurry up and get here.
Why is it when you have something like this coming up shit starts to freak out around you. Work has been a crazy bitch. I have six new home patients. One is a drug addict the other a stubborn and incompliant old man. The other four are fine but still home patients. Which require SO MUCH MORE than facility patients. So, needless to say I am overwhelmed and exhausted. Looking forward to three weeks off. Going recliner shopping this weekend.
My knees are killing me because of the weather change. Arthritis has seriously kicked in. I am hobbling around in pain at work. In and out of the car. Holy cow, I cannot wait to have this weight melting off of me. My friend Lizzie keeps me going with her posts and texts. Enjoying her changes immensely.
