1/18/09 1 year surgivesary!!!! Yeah Me

Well folks I have come to my one year surgiversary....it has been (and will continue to be) an incredible journey!  My starting weight was 375pds...as of 1/20/09 my current weight is 186.  Thats a total of 189 pds lost...i am so grateful to GOD for giving me the opportunity to see another blessed day, and seeing it in a much better state of being & health!  I am so excited for my future....i feel like this is one of the greatest achivements I've had in my life.  It's funny that alot of my family and friends picture me a cool, calm, & collected kind of woman.  And for the most part I am..never to overly excited always right at midpoint...I prefer to keep things in perspective and analyze issues with some sense of composure.  But yall i feel like dancing around and screaming to the top of my lungs...I DID IT! ..I DID IT! ..I DID IT!  

This past year has been incredible..and I am so overwhlemed by the progress I've made..the support from my family and friends..and all the new friends i have gained on this site.  I thank GOD for each and every one of you...and as we continue on our weight loss journeys, please know that we have been placed here at this time and this season to bring hope and encouragement to others that are/and have struggled with their weight.  We all should strive and continue to insipre, encourage, and uplift one another.  Peace and Blessings to you all !!
