Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Well I had my cardiac cath and everything went well. I have no blockages or signs of heart disease...thank god. I went for my EDG on Monday and that too went well. So the last test that I have to have is my sleep study which is scheduled for 5/18. Dr J.B's office called last Thursday and cancelled my appt. for Friday. She said that they just received everything from my PCP and were going to submit to the ins company and would call me as soon as they know something. I have my fingers crossed that I'm approved.....we'll see.  All else is well...I'll keep you posted.....bye

My name is Judy, I'm married and have 4 children. My journey started out like most of yours. I have been overweight most of my life, tipping the scales at 200lbs by senior year of high school( I wish I weighed that now). I am now at my heaviest and extremely unhappy about my appearance and the thought of not being around to see my children accomplish greatness. So 3 weeks ago I went to see Dr. Jean-Baptiste and got the ball rolling. I am almost done with my pre-operative testing and hopefully I'll have a surgery date soon. I'll keep you posted.....
