"Well I met with Dr Yau for the second time today Feb 19th, 01. My first meeting on Feb 12th was very disappointing Dr Yau was very busy and so I didn't get in for 2 hrs past my appointment time. When I got in there he gave me what seemed to be a rehearsed speech pushing the Lap-band full force. When I told him I wanted the RNY he seemed very disappointed and told me the risks of each surgery. He then said thank you, you can set up a date with my secretary and rushed me out not letting me ask a single question. On my way home I thought about the lap-band and the things he said made a lot of sense. So I scheduled another appointment with him to change to a lap-band. The second appointment went very well, he was not as rushed and he seemed very happy that I changed my mind. He also let me ask any questions and gave me confidence that I made the right choice. He must have been having a bad day the last time."
