I weighed in today and I weigh 233 at my height that gives me a BMI of 29.9 and makes me overweight , two years ago I had a BMI of 69.9 and weighed 538 , anyone who is thinking about this surgery do it . I can not began to tell you the difference it has made in my life to many good things to even start .

well it is almost one year ago I changed my life . I have lost 293 pounds so far i want to be over 300 pounds lost and I have a month to do it . I am very happy with what I have done so far this year and very grateful for what God has done for me. I could not have done this without the hep of my wife and family and my lord and savior Jesus .

Went to Dr Dyers for the 8 month checkup , doing great . I feel fantastic , and I have lost 200 pounds since my surgery, 272 pounds down from my heaviest weight when i started this journey July 16th 2008 . I cannot belive it , I have come to realise that just losing weight does not fix everything but my gosh it helps. I would encorage anyone who is thinkong about this to relly think about it. Yes it is hard yes it is scary but the rewards far out weigh the risks . Thanks Again to my wife and family and friends and most of all to our blessed lord Jesus Christ , for the blessings I have recieved in my life.

Had my eight month visit today , was very good. so far so good.. I have lost over 200 pounds since my surgery , 272 pounds since  I first decieded to try to have the surgery 18 months ago. I was worried aout my weight loss but seem to be back on track.  I have now lost more weight then I weigh It is amazing . Thanks To God and the support of my wife and kids today has been a great day .

Okay I have been at 275 or 273 back and forth for the last two weeks , I am still doing the same things but nothing is happening , Any advice , I am afraid of this . I also would like to know if anyone else has stalled and what you arer doing about it . I have another 75 pounds I would like to loose . please any advice would be helpfull . I guess I am worried because in the past I have gained the weight back. I know this is a long post but I would also like to know if anyone else has had friends and family tell them that they do not need to lose anymore weight. I am getting this alot and it is starting to upset me. I know that I need to lose some more weight to feel better and I am going to continue to do it if I can. It seems that some of these folks have a mental image of me and do not want me to change .

Well I have hit a new milestone I am below 280 I have weighed in the 275 area for three days now I am so happy, i have not posted in a while . life gets in the way , but I had to share this today. I have not weighed this in 15 years . I would like to thank God and all the many people who have encoraged me and supported me thank you all. I have gone from a 72 inch waist to a 44 inch waist from a 7xl shirt, thats xxxxxxxL shirt to a XXl and in some shirts a XL , So many little things are better I cannot start . Before i close I have to thak my Wife , without you Pam i would not have had the courage to do this , You are my soulmate and my best friend I love you today ,tommorrow , forever thank you for bieng my rock.

4 months out and saw Dr Dyer today, I have lost 50% of my excess weight , halfway to goal now is the tme to push it. I am inspired by Dr Dyers support . Thanks to God and my family and friends and most of all my belovd wife Pam .

I have now lost 200 pounds . I am so happy . I weighed 538 pounds on july 16th 2008 , I weighed 337 pounds this morning I have now lost 201 pounds only 138 to go . It feels so good I cant wait to be down to my goal wieght .

I went to my surgeons office to drop off some of the clothes I cannot wear anymore they have a swap closet and I picked up a couple of pairs of pants The ones I dropped off were size 72 in the waist to size 58 and the ones I am in now are size 52 and they fit , I dropped off size 6xl ,7xl and 5xl shirts and I am now in a size 3xl. I also went to walmart and bought 3xl undies . I have not bought clothes at walmart in 10 years I feel grateful for this gift.

I weighed in this morning at 364 , that is down 24 punds scince the 25th of june . I was happy but scared I guess i was hoping to  lose at least a pund a day but I dont wont to worry about it . I wrote down all my sign posts on this journey so far

 total weight loss 174 pounds so far. 

when I look at like this iguess it really shows the miricle of the surgery. Thank you lord for helping me get approved for the surgery.
