My Surgery experience

"For whatever the reason, the system couldn't find my doctor by name so I'm going to put what I had to say about him here:
Dr. D. Schimpf @ MUSC Med. Ctr. in Charleston,SC performed my surgery on Oct 24, 2012 the above date.He removed a total of 5 lbs of fat & skin from my lower abd.;while this is not a huge amount, it was enough to relieve my low back pain immediately! The other benefit was, it smoothed out the area. I will be going back in to have a small tear repair that occurred when I experienced a bout of severe sneezing in Jan. Yes, I said sneezing. I could feel the tear as if happen- not the most wonderful experience. Why now & not sooner, you're thinking? Well, after I had the Oct. surgery, I developed a sinus problem, that has been a difficult one to get rid of. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel & will probably get a date for the repair for sometime in early June,2013. Incindently, my doctor did a wonderful job; excellent bedside manner; you name it, he has it all when it comes to qualifying as someone you'd want to be there for you!"
As for how I've done post gastric-by-pass surgery (2006), I should be doing much better than what I am at the moment. Because I have not been walking as I should, I'm not keeping my weight at bay. My food management has entered the "slippery-sliding phase" which is something only I can do something about. I see it happening & I want to see it not happen. I have the tools & only I can use them to make it happen.
