week after kidney stone blasting

Well, It's been a week now and it was a rough week.  I didn't expect the severe pain that this caused.  The day I came home, the nurse told me I had problems with my sleep apnea under anethesia and turned blue which scared me, but when speaking to the surgeon he said there were no issues like that so Idk.  I got home in horrible pain, and dr. said i could double the vicoden.  major pain in my low abdomen and low back and the outside of my left leg.  Dr. said it was because they moved me into stirrups to insert the stent under anethesia and it can cause muscle pains.

Well the next morning I woke up and couldn't move my entire body.  every muscle in my body was cramping and feeling like charlie horses at the same time.  i had to have people pull me up which killed in pain and then inched along walking with a cane.  And all this time Im supposed to be drinking tons of fluids and head to the bathroom time and again which was just hell.   Thank goodness by sat, my muscles were a lil better and each day has improved.  I still find the pressure on my bladder icky and continually feel like i have to pee, like a bladder infection.

So now, I wait until next week to take another xray and go back for a check.. hopefully the stones will be gone and I can move on to my rny.

the good news is that I got the call that I was approved and am ready to go for the rny bypass on July 16th.  I just need clearance from the kidney doctor now.  whoo hoo!
