Long time no talk to. My chemo brain still doesn't function up to par so I'm not sure where we left off. Lets see...my last surgery (not as in final but the last one I had)  was on January 12th. after 2 weeks of trying to keep the right breast implant contained and the skin ripping repeatedly it became necessary to remove muscle and skin from my back to create a "patch". Finally, I think we have that nightmare contained. Nipple reconstruction is on hold for a while.

I am now working on getting the spine surgery rescheduled. My current spine doctor says he has nothing open until April 21st which is wwwwaaayyy too long for me to remain in this pain. I am in bed or in the recliner for the majority of the day now. I try to get up and move around as much as possible but the pain in my back and the pressure on my chest are getting exceedingly worse each day. My lowest rib on the right is actually pushing up on the right breast.  I have started researching other surgeons and think I have found a winner if he has an opening in February or March!

During the last surgery I asked my plastic surgeon what he was going to do for my pain and suffering...lol! What was supposed to be a 3 step surgery for the reconstruction process has made it to 12! My "reward" was a tummy tuck!!!!!!!! I never dreamed in a million years that I would have one this soon due to the cost but I fgured if I was going back under the knife AGAIN I should get something good out of it. The tummy tuck was a breeze. Compared to the pain in my breast and back I couldn't feel a thing in my stomach. It healed very nicely too. I am already showing it off to friends. I was going to have a facelift done but he still thinks once I gain weight I won't need anything done to may face or arms so he went with the tummy tuck. Looks like the only thing I will have left to do cosmetically is my legs but I am in no hurry.

I am down to 95 pounds. This is very discouraging but I am eating better than I have since my sleeve was done. I am hoping it is just a delayed reaction and I will see some meat on my bones within the next couple of months. That is also going to depend on when I have the spine surgery as surgery always makes me lose weight and this one will be a biggy!
