The Journey has began!!

1. I have decided to get the Gastric Bypass surgery.
2. I work for the state. There will be a pilot bariatric surgery program that I will try my darndest to be part of.
3. I have a psychiatrist appointment 12-19-11
4. I have been in constant contact with the surgeon's office. They sent me things I need to do before surgery and stuff.
5. My family doctor feels that this surgery is the best choice for me and my family.
6. I will attend a seminar on the surgery at the hospital the surgery will take place during the 2nd week of January.
7. I already have my vist with the surgeon scheduled....May 22, 2012. Why so long? My insurance states that I have to have 6 months of physician monitored diet program.
8. I am currently taking Phentermine
I guess that is it. I am brand new to this and not sure how to explore and stuff...bare with me.
