This story starts a s a young woman who was given to a mom and dad with the very best of intentions! We had a wonderful life with mom and dad. Still do!

As a very small child I was abused by a school janitor. One time was all it took. From that time on the weight started to grow.

I did move time and again as a young tween and teen but always had my family, so to say that was a huge problem would be wrong. It was interesting and fun never a dull moment. Definitely something that I have had to curtail in my life as a wife and momma. I know it is easy to pick up and go, but I really wanted to have some community roots for my kids to build on so I have stayed still in the same house for 10+ yrs now.

I'm 39 y/o married 3 times and momma of 2 awesome boys. 18 and 10 y/o. Different as night and day, but oh what joys they are in my life. I have several (5) step children who are all grown. My husband is 58 and so awesome. We have been together for 16 yrs. It only gets better with time!

Grandchildren? Yup! They boys are all wonderful. Joe, James, Josh, and Jacob here in town with us. Owen and Evan live a ways away so we rarely get to see them but they are equally as beautiful. I love them all and I often get questions about being a grandma to these sweet babies. All I can say is that to give back love to a child who knows nothing but to love is the easiest thing in the world. I am better for having them all in my life!!!!

My family all lives nearby with mom and dad in the house behind mine, my sister is next to them, one brother in Portland and one is in Arizona? I think? Anyway family support is amazing and I am blessed in so many ways.

My weight has gotten as high as 376lbs. I'm 5'3". Body shaped like my momma who is shaped like her momma and so on...
Food is celebratory, comforting, fun, punishment, sorrow, fear, love, and so much more!

Now? I am so ready to make and retain a change in my body and view towards food. I need some serious tools to help me and in order to do that I choose WLS. Like so many I have done my research and after years of dieting successes and failures decided that I must do this for me!!! My body is of course giving out between the pain of the weight on my joints, the high blood pressure, hormonal issues, stamina problems, and blah, blah, blah...it is never ending. I need the tool of WLS in my life. My mantra has always been, 'life goes on", but now I know it is that "life is for living"! I am so ready to live more and more. I already feel so much better since making the changes under the program, how wonderful it must be to move free and walk light. I can hardly wait!!!!
