Today is my one year anniversary…I am down 102 pounds and I would lay on the operating table again tomorrow without question. I am once again enjoying life!! I can walk a flight of stairs, cross my legs and get up and walk away from the table with food still on my plate!! This surgery was the best thing that I could have done for myself both mentally and physically. To those of you considering it, "What are you waiting for?" and for those of you all ready on the other side "Congratulations on making the best decision of your lives!"

Well today I am one week post-op and am doing great. Sorry that it took so long for me to get on, but my computer chair is very uncomfortable! Let me start of f by thanking all of you for you advise your well wishes and the information that you have shared with me to help me get to the other side. The surgery was Lap and 2.5 hours. The surgeon said that with the exception of some scar tissue, everything went as planned. I spent 2 days in the hospital and on my second day home I was out shopping. I have 5 small scars and feel like this is the best thing that I could have done for myself. My first doctors appointment is on the 30th and I will update on my status more at that time, thanks again to you all and a very special thanks to my angel DEBRA McCLOUD who has been truly and angel through this whole process!

I got a wonderful phone call from Jamelle last night. It was such a surprise. She is doing great. She went with her mom yesterday to do a little shopping. Pretty good for someone that had surgery on the 15th. I think we have another success story in the works.

I have a good ANGEL REPORT this morning. I just talked to Jamelle. She is hoping to go home today. She had some pain in her chest last night so they did some test. She will get the results today and if all is fine then she will go home. She has been drinking juices and so far so good. Looks like another member has made a safe landing to the other side.

Well, I finally got to talk to Jamelle's husband. She is doing great. She is still in reovery due to a bed shortage at the hospital. I will call her tomorrow when she is in her room. According to Mike all went very well. The surgery was about 2 1/2 hours. Sounds real good so far. I'll update you tomorrow.
