Well I made it back home. I went in Monday morning for surgery at 7:30am and was up walking around in the recovery room around 1pm. By Tuesday morning I was walking laps around the nurses’ station and my room. By the time my surgeon came in, he saw no need to keep me in the hospital another night. The only pain I have is just soreness, like I have done 1000 sit-ups. I am struggling with the protein drink and the amount of water, but I guess that will get easier with time.
