Scared and Excited

 Hello All,

I am scared and excited to be 3 months and 10 days away from GSV surgery.  I went on my first diet when I was 7 and have been on at least one diet a year since then. I am tired to the yo-yo, so I am opting for surgery to fix this.

I watched my mom lose over 150 pounds with surgery 8 years ago. She had a very rough time for about six months, but since then she has done great. She says she wishes she would have done it years ago. So I am taking her advice to heart and am having this done in my 40s instead of my 60s. 

I hope to get to know lots of you out there as I shrink.
