I'm so excited. I received my approval and am set for surgery on April 23, 2014! Pre-op testing on 3/31/14 and a pre-surgery consultation on 4/7/14. I have never been so nervous and so anxious about anything. I can't wait to get started on this new exciting journey!!

I have now completed my 6 month of supervised diet and have had my blood work completed. The surgeon's office called last week and said once they get the notes from my PCP and the blood work they call the insurance company to get approval and will call to set a surgery date. I'm getting anxious. I come on this website every day and read through the experiences of others. The folks on here are really helpful! I'm hoping to hear from the surgeon's office by the end of this coming week. Fingers Crossed!!

Today I am 5 days out from my final nutrition appointment. I have so many questions and am so nervous. How long will it take to get all of the information to the surgeon so they can work on approving the surgery? How long will it take to approve it? When will I have it? Can I do this? I mean really do this? Am I ready? ugg!! I feel like I'm prepared, but can't help being nervous. I feel like the more I read posts from other people the better I feel. This seems like a great support network of people.
