7 months and a new challenge

So today is September 30th and I'm in a cast. Yup on my right foot there is a cast since I tore my achilles tendon while playing volleyball at the employee picnic. I hadn't played seriously in 20 years since the time I tore my left achilles tendon. I was reallllllyyyyy happy to be playing and honestly was joyful at being able to run after balls again. I was shocked and pissed when I realized that I'd torn the right one. So I was able to still do 2 jewelry shows in the last 2 weekends. I didnt make a huge amount of money but I'm glad that I stuck to the plan and did them both. I also am glad that I worked out with my trainer post injury with my cast. But there are so many blessings to be grateful for. Since I've been working out, my arms and shoulders don't hurt as much as they did last time. Also, since I've lost weight, I'm not as embarresed as I would have been last year this time had this happened then. There are more things to be thankful for but I"m a bit tired. Surgery is on October 3rd and I'll try to update after that. (note: eating has been so-so) Life is good.Be well.
