I'm finally gonna give this a crack. I'm a 33 yr. old homemaker/student and I've been overweight my entire life. I was the chubby baby when everyone else was starting to slim up some. Like most everyone else on this site I went through school being teased for being 'fat', though in retrospect... Wow, wish I could be that thin now. I can't believe I was concidered 'fat' for wearing a size 12 as a senior in high school. Times sure do change.
Anyways, I have two wonderful little angels with crooked halos and horns. But they are mine. I created them and they act just like me so I can't complain about them being spoiled. I'm also married to a wonderful man. Wonderful because I'm not an easy person to live with. Well, neither is he, but we are both too lazy to 'train' a new one. 
I was a senior in high school when we started dating, so he knew me when I was 'skinny' LOL. There is hardly anything that we have not been through together and we always make it through. I personally think we will make it through the stress of the surgery and weight loss just fine. My only fear is he will like the 'new' me better then the 'old' me. But honestly... is that not the point? I sure hope he more than likes the new me.
I finally have a date, December 12, 2007. I'm currently excited, give me 10 minutes and I'll probably be scared again. But that is the way that works.
In a nut shell this is me. An avid, or rabid, take your pick Ohio State Fan. GO BUCKS! Mother and Wife. English/Education Major. I will finally get my degree!
