Well, tonight is my last night of real food, then 4 days of liquids. I thought I would go on this major binge but I didn't. I don't feel like I need to do that with food today. I am so ready for this new life.

Well, here I am with one week to go. I'm getting so nervous. I just got back from a week long beach vacation and took my before pics. I felt so big on that beach. I'm not looking forward to the 4 days of liquids before the surgery. I'm not nervous of the surgery itself. It is more about 'will this really work for me'? I keep thinking that I'll be the exception.

Today I found out that my date is set for April 20th. And from now until then I have to lose 5 - 10 lbs. by going on the South Beach diet. I'm nervous about it because I've never been able to successfully diet before. But this time I am determined. We are going on vacation and it will take a lot of planning to stick to it.
