I just completed some of my pre op testing. I had the Upper GI and the Abdominal ultrasound. Hopefully the test results will come back fine. Once the doctor gets the results, they will contact the insurance company for surgery date approval. Hopefully it will all work out. I am nervous about the surgery and the aftercare and eating habits, but I look forward to finally starting to change my life and my look forever.
I have three small children and I just wonder how I am going to balance them all plus fit in the mandatory aftercare and change in lifestyle that this surgery requires. It is a daunting thought and sometimes makes me question if this surgery if right for me. I know I want it, but I am scared at the same time. I don't know anyone who has had this surgery and I just wonder how everyone else has handled the huge change in their life if they are married with small kids.
