Jennifer, Thanks for posting so well. I am 5 weeks post op, and wondering what I should be losing. I am glad that you posted as you did, with the weeks and pounds lost. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again!

I saw Jennifer again yesterday and she was glad to have her tube out. She can't go for walks yet thou b/c of her epideral has her upper leg numb so they turned it down and it is supposed to come out today so hopefully then she will be up and around. Take care Jennifer and talk to you soon!

I saw Jennifer on Wednessday and she was doing good just didn't like the tube in her throat which is understandable. She said she felt ok and sat up for awhile in the chair. You are doing good Jennifer keep it up!

Hi Everyone, talked to Jennifer again tonight. She is doing great. She has her NG tube out and is eating ice chips. Tomorrow she gets her first "real" meal. She did have a fever last night but she thinks that is because she couldn't get up and move that much. Now that her cath. has been turned off she is able to move better. She is hoping to come home on Saturday, so lets fill up her page for when she comes home. Thanks
