WOW! July 27,2015- 9 years post op!

WOW! it's been along time since I have been on this site and posting anything. But there are many new friends that are starting their Journey into getting healthier. I want to tell you that this is not and easy Journey but it is one that if you follow all of your new rules that are provided by your surgeon you will do good.
I'm coming up on my 9th year and I have done good.......................

I truly hope that each and everyone will have a GREAT TIME! I know that I will be just staying home and not DRINKING or doing things CRAZY. So I will be watching the NEW YEAR come in on TV and making a quite dinner for TWO.
My journey has been WONDERFUL I'm almost 4 years post op, come July 2010, and I have been able to maintain my SUCCESS. If it had not have been for me being able to have my surgery I know that I might not be here today. So I take off my HAT to my surgeron and GOD for making this all possible for me.

I'm here today always fighting with 5 to 10 pounds but really not having to worry about what I'm doing like I did 2.5 years ago.
I have so much to be thinkful for, 1- being able to love me again, 2- being able to enjoy all the things that life in itself has to offer, 3- being able to help others here on OH for this is really a great place to be.

I'm wanting to tell you a little bit about my and how my journey began. It was just a little over 18 months ago I was talking to a friend and I was telling her that I was looking into having WLS and I was going to be going to Mexico and she took me to her Doctor Bryan Freeman; He and his staff was really wonderful.
I'm now 18 months post op and I have done really well. I have lost amazing 210 pound and really feeling GREAT. I'm so THANKFUL for all of the support that I have been given here on OH and all of the other outside support that I have found through meeting so many new and wonderful friends.

I just want everyone to know that so much is happening in my life and I really think that it is really so wonderful. I have been to the conference in ORLANDO FLORIDA 2007 and I really had a BLAST. I really meet up with a lot of people per-ops and post-ops. I was even given the chance to talk with the OH STAFF and really get to know them. I really want to THANK ERIC KELEN for creating OH. This site has really helped me in so many ways.

I have really been happy for sometime since my surgery, and I have made lots of new friends. I hope that everyone looking into having this surgery looks long and hard and really thinks about what changes are going to happen. I did!
