Hi guys, it's been a while!
Talking to my dietician 1 week post op, it sounds like I'm alot more sensitive to sugars than most. I couldn't tolerate the liquid Tylenol at the hospital as I had dumping. 3 months post op, I struggle with anything

Hi I'm about 2.5 weeks post op. I am currently on soft food and supplementing with premier protein about once a day.
My average for the past week:
Protein: 65-75 G
Sugar : under 10
Calories: 400-500
Carbs: 25-30<

Hi guys o was just wondering how most of you progressed through your diet stages post op. Did you stay at the speed they suggested or did you move faster? In Ottawa it is 3 days clear fluid then full fluid until day 7. Then pureed for a week. Soft for

So i am post op day 3, and i thought i would write down a few things that i loved having and found really helpful
What to pack:
- Loose, light, and comfy housecoat
- Easy to slip on slippers
- Dry mouth spray

Had my surgery yesterday. Hard to believe it is all over.
Things went super smooth, i was supposed to arrive at 11 and go in at 2 but they brought me into the OR at 12 which was great. I was in my room by 5pm and was up pacing the halls by 9. I

Only 1 week to go!
In 1 week I will be having surgery and it's crazy to me how fast it has gone! I'm so excited and scared. I had me preop today and it really hit me how close and real it is.

Are we allowed sucralose on optifast?

So I have been fast tracked for surgery and only have to do just over 2 weeks of optifast. Initially I had asked to do 4 weeks as I wanted to lose as much weight as possible. But since my BMI is just under 50 they said I should be fine with less than 3

So I met the surgeon today and got my optifast. I was told it was a 6-8 week wait for surgery. Then I got a call that if the surgeon agrees and I can have surgery on 2.5 weeks as they have an opening. So I started optifast tonight. I'm so excited and s

Hi guys I have my meet the surgeon (Dr. K) in just over a week. I for some reason have big anxiety of having my bp done. Can anyone tell me exactly what the appointment is like when meeting the surgeon in Ottawa.

Hi guys, so I had my sleep test done about 5 weeks ago. It was horrendous. It was hot, no ambiant noise, I could hear every door open and the techs keyboard, and the monitor/leads fell off every time I flinched. I think the longest I slept was for 1 h
