What answer do you give to people when you tell them you are having or have had RNY, DS, Lap-Band or any other form or Bariatric Surgery? Here are a couple other statistics:
Just being obese increases your risk of death by 10 to 50%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heart Valve Replacement Surgery has a mortality rate of 2.4%
Gallbladder surgery has a mortality rate of 0.11%
RNY surgery at the Barix Clinic has a mortality rate of 0.01%
Which rate do you like the best?
I'm going to look up more rates...do you have any you want to add?
