My Journey

I started this journey on 07/26/13 and it has been amazing so far. It took me long time to make this decision that I wanted to have surgery. I never though in a million years that I would the weight I am today and writing a blog about having weight loss surgery. I am currently weighing in at 315 pounds and still gaining. I am struggling so hard with trying not to gain weight before surgery but it has been so hard. I am looking forward to putting all of this weight behind me and not allow it to continue to hold me back from like. I found out today on 08/27/13 just a little over a month after my first appt. I have been approved for my VSG surgery and I am so excited. nervous. scared, and all of them above. I am looking forward to the future and I know in my heart I making the best decision for me!
