(Update 4/2014)
9 months post-op I became pregnant with my first daughter. Addison was born in March 2011. My dream of being a mother was a reality. I was fortunate to have a healthy and happy pregnancy and baby. I lost 11 lbs during that pregnancy and quickly reached an all-time low weight of 135lbs when Addison was about 4 months old. I attribute this to hormones, pumping breastmilk, and lifestyle change. I gradually put on a little weight and was happily 150lbs for about a year. Then I became pregnant again. Unfortunately, I lost that pregnancy and then lost another four months later. After two miscarriages, my weight was hovering at 160lbs. In January 2013, I found out I was expecting a baby - this baby thrived and my second daughter, Cate, was born in September 2013. During that pregnancy, I gained a modest 13lbs and was already below pre-pregnancy weight when I got home from the hospital. Again, I think this is just my body's reaction to no longer supporting a baby after 9 months. I am now 7 months postpartum and am hovering around 160lbs again. I would like to get down to 140lbs. I may determine that weight is not natural for me to maintain and then I will make adjustments. However, I don't think I need to be over 150lbs. I am currently in a range of sizes - usually 8-10 and Medium. I am currently interested in body contouring surgery, but haven't pursued it seriously yet. We are not sure if our family is complete, but I have excess skin on my thighs and butt that I could definitely stand to lose. I am very happy with my health and the two babies that were made possible by my VSG.

I'm 25 and married the love of my life on 12/8/07 in Key West, FL. We have two wonderful cats and long for a family of our own.
I've been up and down with my weight for as long as I can remember. I always end up heavier than I started. Currently at my highest and have had enough. I think I carry my weight differently than others because usually people can't believe I am a certain size/weight. But I hold a lot in my abdomen (thanks PCOS) and keep that in with control tops. If not, I look pregnant, which is ironic because that is what I long for so much.
