Hey all! I am meeting with Dr. Hazem Elariny and planning to get my gastric bypass revised to a DS..has anyone else had this procedure?..if so how are you doing?..any advice?

Hello all..what is the difference between a revision to bpd only as opposed to bpd-ds..I know the revision to full ds is a longer more complicated surgery, and my surgeon says revision to bpd will give same results..any thoughts/

Hello.my surgeon..DR. Salameh in Virginia is saying that a revision to a DS is too complicated because I got my original bypass 20 years ago and they did the staples differently..and that he would revise to a distal bypass..it seems many people on this

Hello..I had an open gastric bypass 20 years ago and have gained back 70% of the weight..looking to revise to a DS and trying to find a good surgeon in the DC area..any suggestions?
