Monday Oct. 3, 2005. Hello! After a lot of research I have decided to go with Bypass Surgery. Researching this web site, and talking with people I know who have had Bypass surgery has me completely sold on it. I was considering the Lap Band, but want a permenant lifestyle change as well, and feel that may not happen with the Band. I am getting a little frustrated with my Dr.'s office and their lack of response to my phone calls. I understand that they are busy, but I have been trying to get a response for over a week and on Friday I held for 10 minutes to talk to Teresa and then someone hung up on me! I then called back and got the machine. Left message for someone to "please" call back with a quick update on the status of my Insurance paperwork. And so far no response. I don't want to be one of those people who calls and calls and calls, but I don't know what else to do......Hopefully I will get a call back today. I have an appointment tomorrow for a consult with the Gastoenterologist. That should be a Gas!! ha ha .... Next week I have my final (of the neverending series of presurgery appointments) and that is with the Cardiologist. Then it is just waiting for a date as far as I know. Oh I just can't wait to have a surgery date!!!!!!!!! Hope I hear from the dr. soon. Bye for now!
