I am a 33 year old single mother of two. My weight problem goes way back to childhood, I have always been on the heavy side. For years trying diet after diet and going to weight doctors.

I first called about the surgery in 2005 and recieved info through the mail but then chickened out and recently called and made an appt. in Sept. 06 and after going through the necessary test for my insurance company I was approved in Nov. 06 and in as little as four days I'm scheduled for surgery. I'm yet happy but also starting to get nervous counting down the days.
