3 lbs to goal!

I am trying to be aware of just how far I have came in such a short 10 1/2 months. Minus 108 lbs...22/24 to a 10 or 11/12....small/Medium top. I feel amazing 3 lbs from high school weight. So guess who is going to their 20 year high school reunion the same weight as they were in high school?...THIS GIRL. LOL I mean I wore a size 7 then...but I feel good where I am...and its nice to say my weight is the same. I am got a comment from a cousin who said I have lost too much now....I ignored that (its not the 1st jealous statement she has ever made and I recognize it for what it is)...I am learning to let the compliments become a part of me..and letting the bad ones bounce off. I pray your journey is as successful as I feel mine has been. I am very aware where I would be today if not for my Gastric Bypass. I would still be 256 this morning. Still failing at diets...still complaining of aches and pains...still avoiding buying clothes or dressing up....still making excuses not to go out. I CAN NOT wait until my husbands company Christmas Party. Every year I dread it. I just always get it in my head that they are all making comments on how BIG Kirk's wife is. It was the only time of year that I would actually spend alot of money trying to get something decent to wear. I did my best to dress my big booty up...and try to look as cute as you can at 256 lbs. Now dont get me wrong...I have seen some GORGEOUS big girls..I wasnt one of those. And just feeling so self conscious.Yuck! Not this year I tell you that. This year I am going in there as sexy as I can. I will not be self conscious...only confident. Im definetly going to rock some heels. Oh I cant wait. Bring it on! lol My 38th birthday is on Black Friday this year....my dad told me he is going to give me some shopping money. So I am definelty looking forward to that one. :)))

Well Happy Thanksgiving... If you've had your surgery...remember, you may not be able to eat as much as you use to..but just think about how jealous my cousin would be to look like you - LMBO - OR if you have a jealous cousin like me - then think of how jealous yours is of how you look in those cute little clothes you bought for the holiday - lol. And I wouldnt trade all the turkey...stuffing...and pumpkin pie in the world for seeing that high school weight on the scale (148). I plan on eating small amounts through the day...but think of all the protein in turkey meat....thanksgiving meals typically have some good wholesome stuff...and I am going to make some bypass friendly desserts.
