Can you believe it's 7 days post-op! Wow! Never thought I'd say that! Feels like a long Journey, but I know others have such longer journeys.. I don't know how they make it through!!! I'm feeling good.. Little weak.. Sick of Jello.. Gettick sick of Broth.. (Dying for a slice of bread with my broth! LOL) I have my appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday, I'll update you all on my weightloss then!! Thanks for all the Love and Support

Jennifer, Congratulations on your successful journey to the losing side! You are well on your way now to smaller (LOL) and better things. Remember that it is never to late to be what you might have been. Thank you so much for sharing your surgery experience - I am praying that my surgery is as uneventful as yours. Sending you hugs and abundant blessings,

I have to tellyou.. If I had to go in tomorrow to redo the surgery I WOULD DO IT!! :) I had a very easy time, and I Hope you all do too.. Basically I went in Friday morning.. Was there at5:30am.. They took me to my room, weighed me, went over the surgery again.. Got me ready, put me in my gown, brought me down to the operating room. Off I went.. The put an iv in, and the anthesiologist said.. "Ok.. gonna give you a little something now to calm your nerves.. we'll go into the operating room, and i"ll have you scoot onto the table.." etc.. So IV started... I was out for the count.. don't remember a thing after until I woke up pain free.. with no tubes.. just a drain in my stomach.. (Really not bad at all) and my IV. Had no pain.. They put me in the ICU, because they had room, and they could watch me closeeley.. Brought me for my leak test.. and YECK.. it was good at first, but the after taste was GROSS.. I was sure I was going to yack.. I got back ot my room, my nurse was EXCELLENT she stayed with me, and we went right up and I brushed my teeth.. used some moutwash and YAHOO.. I felt back normal.. I had normal pain what is expected after surgery.. Little pain when you get in and out of the bed.. but not bad.. I feel very normal.. I feel like I didn't have surgery.. actually til I burp.. then I'm reminded that I'm a little sore.. Everything so far goes down the same way it did before.. Ofcourse I'm sick of SF Jello.. but it's ok.. What else? I don't like my doctor's after plan.. I'm interested to see what is on the list of others.. They told me I could have SF Carnation Instant breakfastWITH SKIM MILK. If I'm not mistaken.. That's for further along postops.. not 2 days after surgery.. but who am I.. I don't care for Dr. Artuso's afterplan.. but maybe it's just me.. I'm sticking to Jello, cause I'm afraid of everything else.. They gave me Juice.. They gave me tea with milk, they gave me tons of things.. So I just ate my Jello.. Any suggestions would be great!! Anyway.. I feel great.. I can walk and go up and down stairs, in and out of bed.. and off of pain meds.. So I think the surgery was WONDERFUL! I was 256 when I entered the hospital.. a day later I was 261. And then 263.. But by the time I left today I was 251. WOOHOO! :) I know I lost more.. it's mostly fluid.. So I will wait a few days for an update! :) Jenny
