Hi all!
I'm Jen, like many of you I have been overweight since puberty with about 3 short livevd glorious periods of weight loss! I have done the yo-yo/roller coaster ride more time than I care to count, and I can't do it anymore. I've struggled with this long enough to know that I cannot achieve a lasting healthy weight without surgical intervention. Having come to this conclusion, I just had my first WLS consultation with the Barix Clinic in Langhorne, PA. I was very impressed with the facility, the amount of information supplied, and the friendly faces....the one place in the world I felt like I could let it all hang out and no one would judge. I am 100% sure I want GBS...and I scarily find myself hopeful for my future, and terrified that my insurance company will deny it. Anyway, I am thrilled about OH and look forward to learning from you all!
