Hi everyone!  I'm jen.  I'm here looking for some support from people who know what I'm going through.  I had my surgery December 17, 2007, from Dr. Warnock.  The stiffness and the pain really hasnt been horrible in my incision area, just really annoying....however, my back has been killing me!!!!!  I've also had a lot of nausea!  I think stopping my effexor cold turkey may have more to do with this than anything.  i take a small dosage for mild depression and for anxiety.  It's very hard and not recommended to just stop!  DAy 3,4, and 5 were really the tough ones.  Today day 6, is starting to get a little easier!
I'm 5'5 and 257, pre-op.  I can't wait until I meet the real me inside here.  I've been obese since I was at least 10, my weight has always been up and down (mostly up) and I'm ready for a change.  I've done the diets, spent hours at the gym but we all know it comes back!  I need help, I'm ready for the work, but I need somthing going for me in my corner, and that's how I think of WLS.  There are so many things that help me stay fat despite all the work and effort I put into losing it, so now I'm doing the work, but have some help!  It's going to be an interesting journey...but i'm so ready!
