Well, where do I begin? As most here at Obesityhelp.com I have been overweight my entire life. Growing up I dealt with alot of the typical "fatboy situations" and had some serious self-esteem issues inside. I had tons of friends, but my weight always seemed to be a major problem for me. I played football throughout junior high and highschool and that helped at least maintain my weight between 275 and 300 lbs. After highschool my weight began to get even worse, spiking up to 435 lbs. when entering my 20's. I dieted throughout my entire life and lost weight, but always gained it back with extra pounds. I finally decided to have surgery on August 1, 2006, 15 days before my 27th birthday. So far I've lost a total of 108 lbs, going from 435 lbs. to 328 lbs. I'm  almost completely off of my B.P. and Cholesterol medications and have hardly any knee or back pain. I can exercise daily without feeling like I'm going to die and I can also play with my nephew, Jackson, without any pain. Everyday I'm loving life more and more and I'm accomplishing so many things that I thought I'd never be able to do, all thanks to the gastric bypass surgery. If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know. I'd love to help anyone get their life back from obesity.
