So.....

Dec 27, 2010

Christmas is over and now its time for the new year!  I'm excited (I know your guys are sick of me saying that but I am)!  I've had a really bad rough couple of weeks beginning on the 17th of this month.  I'm just going through a lot relationship-wise.  Nothing that I need to delve into here but just keep me lifted up in prayer.

Christmas was much better than Thanksgiving.  I was with my mother, sister, daughter, son, and niece.  We all spent the night at my mother's house Friday night and stayed up to cook Christmas dinner.  It was so funny because my mom tried to hang with the youngsters .  She knows she goes to bed around 8 p.m. and she stayed up with us until 1:30 a.m.  Actually I was done my doggone self around that time.  I went to bed !  The kids woke us up around 8 a.m. and I was back in bed at 10 a.m.  I'm getting too old for this!  Anyway, mother was trying to tell us how to cook everything.  She is hilarious.  We had Turkey, ham, green noodle casserole (consists of spinach noodles, chicken, and cheese), green beans, cabbage, dressing, giblet gravy, corn bread, a pound cake, pineapple upside down cake, and a pear pie.  I ate one slice of dark meat of turkey, a piece of ham, TBL of green beans, TBL of cabbage, TBL of green noodle casserole, and a corner of corn bread and I had water.  I was so full!  I fixed the cabbage and the sweets.  I think I did really good.

Anyway, I didn't make to my goal of 100lbs lost by my one year surgiversary but I'm maintaining.  It will be Wednesday, December 29th,  So my new years resolution is to make it to my goal of 100lbs lost by some time in March.  I think I can do it, I just got to buckle down and do the exercise!

So lovely people, I will be seeing you around next year!  Everyone be safe and have a happy and healthy New Year!

Miracles & Blessings
