4 Weeks Update
Nov 05, 2007
Well, it's been 4 weeks and 3 days since surgery and I am doing a lot better than I was. So far I have lost 35 pounds and I am not sure about the inches yet. I will update that later... I returned to work today and it is great to be out among the living again. I must be honest... At first I regreted this surgery completely, now I am dealing. It was a BIG shock. I thought I prepared myself for the surgery pretty well, Boy was I DEAD wrong. But I am happy that I have had this done. I can't wait to lose more weight. Right now I am stalling out but I will be working out as much as I can so I don't get myself into too much of a rut.
It's finally happening!

It's finally happening. I got the call this morning with a surgery date. I will be starting my new life 10/5/07. My birthday is 10/16 and this is a great birthday present, a little early, but I'm not complaining. This has to be the best "high" ever. I can'twait to start this journey that I hear everyone talking about.

Well, I just finished my 6 month diet and I am now waiting for insurance approval. They submitted 7/24 and said it will most likely take about 2 weeks before we hear anything back from the insurance company. My NUT says everything looked good and I should have no problem getting approved. BUT, I am the type of person who hopes for the best and prepares for the worst. Weird thing is I have not even thought about the possibility of NOT getting approved. I just automatically assume that I am approved and am just waiting on a date. This is a BAD place to be. I hate the waiting game...

Well... After the positive feedback and the research that I have done... I made the decision. I am definately going to get the surgery. If ofcourse I am approved. Will no more later....
