Good morning OH family... Did a weigh in Wednesday morning and i am down 122 lbs so far...

Just came on to see when the last time i posted was. It was just about a month ago. Feeling a little discouraged right now though to see that i have only lost 7 more pounds since my last check in on here...

Hey all, Just wanted to do a quick update and let you guys know that as of last week i hit my first 100 pounds.... I am so happy....but more to come...

Sorry guys for taking so long to post an update. I have been doing good with my weight loss. I am down a total of 85 pounds... Emotionally sometimes i feel i could be in a better place but April isn't a good month for me seeing how it is my little sister's birthday this month. She would have been 24 this year but she is celebrating it yet again in Heaven. She passed 2 days after my birthday in January 2008 from a blood clot. I miss her and love her so much... RIP baby girl.

On January 26, 2010 at 7:30 in the morning i was wheeled to the operating room and on my way to my new life beginning. Surgery took just about 4 hours and i was brought to the recovery room around 11:30 and was there until a little after 4pm because my oxygen level kept dipping down into the 80's. After being in my room i was up and walking at 6:30 that night with my IV and Oxygen tank. I was on oxygen all night and ask the nurse around 10am if i could try to come off and she let me and had me walk the halls checking my O2 levels along the way and everything had finally leveled off to normal. Oh by the way Dr. Papasavas was able to do my surgery laparoscopically so i have 6 small incisions. I was thrilled when i found that out. So Wednesday went well and Thursday afternoon i was able to go home after they took the drain out. I will update more after i have my post op on Feb. 8th...

Sick with strep throat and a chest cold. Went to the doctors today and got medicine. Praying i am better for my surgery tuesday or they may not operate

I lost 15 pounds I am so excited... Now all the emotions are setting in to know that in 13 days i will beginning my new life...

I have to go for my weigh in tomorrow January 13th and i am very nervous. My scale says that i have lost weight but i think my nerves are taking over. Because i keep questioning if it is going to be enough? I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that he will push my surgery further off but i hope and pray everything stays the same... Just very nervous.,.

Was approved for surgery.... My date is January 26, 2010

Called the doctors office today after my appointment. They pulled my file and everthing should be on its way to insurance tomorrow if not by friday the latest. Keeping my fingers crossed......
