Utterly obese

Aug 12, 2020

My name is Jessie, and ever since I can remember, I've always been fat, or obese to be more exact. In eighth grade I weighed more than most of the teachers, at 270 pounds. In my senior year of high school, I weighed 430 pounds. And seven years later, right now, I weigh around 596 pounds the last time I bothered to check. I hate being obese, I usually just lie in my bed all day and rely on my younger siblings to bring me food. One time, I was super hungry and I had ate all the food I kept by my bed. I called for my sister but she wasn't home yet, and neither were my other siblings or parents. So, I tried getting up from my bed to get food from the kitchen. It took me around half an hour just to lift myself to a sitting position, and I had to rest for ten minutes because my heart was racing. Then, I slowly walked to the kitchen, but I tripped and fell on my back in the living room. Despite my efforts, I was unable to get up because of how big my stomach is. I had to lie like that for 2 hours before my sister came home and helped me up. It was the most humiliating experience of my life, and that was only a few days ago. So, I decided enough was enough and started looking for weight loss options. I found this website, so I will be posting about myself while exploring weight loss surgery.
