My story started way back when I was a little girl. I had been overweight all my life. In high school I never dated anyone from school and I never got to go to prom. I pretty much ran with the crowd that excepted my. They were not always the best crowd. I married a good man and my weight really climbed. As the years went by I tried to quit smoking. I was successful but gained over 100 pounds in the process. I didn't know which was worse. Smoke or fat.
After a year of researching and talking to lots of people I elected to have the surgery. All went well. It was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have lost 158 pounds, wear a size 2 and feel so  much better than I have felt in years. I can actually walk now.

I started back smoking but am trying to quit again. I know I can do it. It is just a matter of do I want to bad enough.

I have had no complications in all these years. I can eat anything I want. It's hard to find clothes to fit me though. My face is more wrinkled than it used to be, but I have gotten older too. I did not have any surgery to remove skin. At my age as long as I look good in my clothes, that's all that matters. My husband loves me fat, skinny, or wrinkled! I have been blessed.
