Finally hit that 100 pounds lost post op.  I was hoping i would have hit it by christmas day, but it happened the day after.  Regardless, i'll take it.  I still feel like it took forever to lose the 100 pounds post op, but considering that I also lost 50 pounds pre-op, i should'nt complain.  I'm still 150 pounds down from this time last year.  Simply amazing. 

Had a great christmas.  I wanted clothes from my wife, so I told her  to buy me clothes a size down from what i'm wearing now, to give me something to work towards.  Joke was on me.  She did as i instructed, but that damn clothes fit now!  Large shirts and size 34 jeans.  WTF!  Who would have ever thought?  Again, simply amazing.

So, my surgery was monday.  Everything went well, the doctor said it was a great surgery, no issues.  I stayed in the hospital for 2 days, was released last night. 

My major concern now is the bloating/gas.  God, it's terrible.  My stomach feels really bloated/large and in turn makes the pain from the incisions a little worse as well.  Did others have this issue too?  From what I read online, this can be common, but it's so uncomfortable right now.  I can feel gas within my stomach as well, but it just won't "come out" if you know what I mean.  So i'm just walking around bloated and full of gas.  I can't seem to drink anything right now, because i'm so full of the gas, that drinking is very uncomfortable as well.  I know I need to get my liquids in to stay hydrated, so this is really concerning me.  It's only day 3 post op, so I know I need to give it some time, but i'm really concerned.

Any tips out there???

Well, today is the day! I thank God for me seeing this day, and I thank God for peace. No longer nervous, i'm just anxious to get this done and be on the road for recovery. The last couple of days have really made me feel better, and i'm so blessed/thankful for all the people in my life who care for me, expressed their joy for me and are actively praying for me and my procedure. This is what i've been waiting for, and although the road ahead wont be an easy one by any stretch of imagination, i'm ready for it. LET'S GET IT!
