Well here I am finally starting my story.  I will have to regress a little to start from the beginning.

 Oct 2005

I got my referral to go speak to the surgeon and had an appointment the first week of Nov. 2005.

Oct.15, 2005 GUESS WHAT cancel that appointment I am pregnant again and Due Jun, 2006.  I was very emotional over this but I got through and would not give the little man up for anything def. a good reason to have to wait a year for surgery I say.

Aug. 2006 Went back to the Doc and ask him to resend my request and refferal to the surgeon.  Done in just a few days and had an appointment for the surgeon's class the following month.  So Sept. we went to the class.  Because I had started the process before and knew some of the things that needed done, I did not have to redo the Sleep Study.  After the class the Doc ran bloodwork and I was able to THAT DAY if you can imagine get my physic eval and see the nutritionist.  So I was all set right.  Not that lucky!!!!!  we got home and I got a call a couple days later from the Nurse I have H-Pylorie a virus in my stomache that causes ulcers and thay type of thing so I have to go on antibiotics and then have an upper GI done.  So that process takes a little over a month and my results from the upper GI say IT STILL IS NOT GONE at this point I am starting to loose faith and I went back on antibiotics again.  I told me husband if it does not work this time I am not having the surgery I will take it as a warning from someone way bigger than us that I should not have it done.  Well after 14 days of the medicine I then had to wait 4 weeks before they would do the next test it was called a pi test and I just had to breath into a baloon to test.  Well at last the negative results came in Jan. and I had a surgery date of Feb. 26, 2007.

Today I have my pre-op visit and then surgery on Monday all went well but it took WAY longer than I thought it would and I was what I thought was starving before we got done.  Little did I know in the next few weeks I would think that again and again.

Surgery day as we all know go in lay down and let them work the magic and then I woke up and we can all say we would do it again but I have to say it hurt like HELL for days!!!!!!!  I was discharged on Mar. 2, 2007 and then had a 7 1/2 hour drive home.  That was VERY ROUGH...... Lots of tears and drugs but we made it home on the 3rd.
