I Have a Date

I am officially scheduled for Lap band surgery 10/13/10.  This is pending insurance auth and a few tests but it looks like I am finally on my way.  Started the 6 month diet back in April and I am participating in the PREP study at UPMC.  I have had the session with the dietitian, psych consult, upper GI, abdominal ultrasound, adenosine stress test.  Still need a chest x-ray and and EKG but these are the easy ones to schedule.  In April I weighed in at 242 and currently at 228.  Trying not to get too excited until the insurance gives authorization.  Will be several weeks for this.
