02-27-08 Ok, here is the Reader's Digest version of my journey..............i had surgery on 8/25/04......did great my first year then everything started to unravel. My mom was diagnosed with cancer, just about a month after that, she passed away on 9/14/05. I fell back into bad eating habits and wasn't disciplined. Mom was my biggest supporter. In the 18 months following, i had attended 4 other funeral, 2 of which were for members of my family (my aunt and grandmother). It was the worst time of my life. I lost about 160 pounds but since all of the tragedy's in my life, i have put on about 60 pounds. I'm not proud of this and in fact, i'm quite embarrassed by it. I have great friends who i have met through this board and they have been there for me for most of this. I love them and wouldn't be where i am without them. I am now getting myself back on track and looking forward to being happy once again. The End. LOL
