Welome Jodie, I too am a Nurse who has been overweight for all of my life...it basically ended my bedside career as a Cardiac ICU nurse b/c of back pain, knees. etc. I also waited b/c WLS scared me but now type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea and a few other problems. I don't have a date yet, but expecting to have the surgery in late October. I wish you the best of luck.
