Two weeks post op
Jan 09, 2011
Tomorrow will be two weeks post op and have lost 26# including pre op. Everything is going well. I am on pureed foods and find that I keep trying to find foods that I can eat that have high protein. I just need to find something and be consistent and eat that same food for at least the next week. In one more week, I graduate to soft foods. I'm sure I'll be back in that situation on deciding what I can eat and what I cannot eat. I did try eating deli tuna salad yesterday and became really sick. I'm not sure if I dumped or if I'm eating too much too quick. Not really sure how to do this just yet but will try harder. I have a good friend that had this surgery a little over a year ago and she is my mentor. I think God for her.My stomach still feels a bit raw, I am not exercising like I should but I will try and do better. For now, I eat refried beans, scrambled eggs, Atkin shakes, and Isopure. Drinking the Isopure ensures I get my protein in but I get so sick of it.
Anyway, my blog for Sunday, 09-Jan-2011.
