I am just past six months post op and am preparing for another surgery on January 24. Dr. Patterson found an ovarian cyst when she did my BPD in June and now it's time to have it taken care of. I'm comforted to know that Dr. Patterson will scrub in for this surgery and I know that between her and Dr. Michael Collins all will go as a planned. Thank you to all of you who have become such a vital part of my support network, especially Elle Hayes-Cook and Becca Kauffman, my Crone/Angel team. You mean the world to me! Hi Julie -- I am just writing to wish you well with your upcoming ovarian surgery. I'm sorry you've got another "challenge" coming up so soon after bariatric surgery. You always sound strong and full of good humor in your posts. I hope you can draw on your strengths and keep on hanging in there! We are all pulling for you.

I am two months post op as of today. My loss has been slow but steady, joining the gym has been good. I'm begining to see myself differently, catching glimpses of someone else in mirrors and windows! Other than a total intolerance for tap water, I have had no problems. My profile has been updated and includes a link to my pre and post op photo albums. Thank you everyone for your support.. I see my surgeon again in late September. ~Peace

Hi Julie, WOW I love your pictures!!!! AND your hair, it is beautiful. For a pre-op, your hospital pictures were just what the doctor ordered! I laughed at the getting sassy one, lol Keep up the excellent progress! Joanie
