My name is Laura. I am a 40 yo mother of 3- Emergency room nurse- work full time. I live in southern Connecticut with my kids and DH of 14 years. I decided to have WLS last May, when I hit my all time high weight of 269 pounds- I was miserable, unhappy and uncomfortable. I made an appointment to see Dr. Aranow and started in his bariatric WLS program. I got insurance approval and had my Lap-band put in on September 4th, the day after Labor day. Although I am losing weight slowly, I am happy and encouraged- I love my band!
