"Although a small hospital, Velmar had very friendly staff. If I wanted meds, they gave them to me. They answered my call lights quickly and were very thorough in documentation of my care. Excellent hospital. The staff speaks minimal English, but we were easily able to communicate my needs because I feel they were sensitive and prepared for what they would be. They provided red carpet treatment for me. I loved the experience. If anyone chooses this hospital/doctor for their care.... Fransisco is the nurse to have! He's gentle, intelligent, soft spoken, friendly and I know he'd be considered a top notch nurse even here in the USA... and I have worked in hospitals since 1988."
"I spoke with Dr. Valencia on the telephone. Our conversation flowed freely and lasted over an hour. This gentleman is caring, witty, talented, humble and makes his patients feel so at ease. I am fully content with the decision I have made in selecting him to care for me.rnHe is very clear about this procedure not being a magic trick and he is not doing the surgeries for just anyone willing to travel to Mexico for the lower cost. He wants his patients to make knowledgable decisions, knowing the risks as well as the advantages about each of the available procedures available for them.
