Surgery is May 12th!!! Nervous and excited but looking forward to all the changes :)

Well, my PCP has given me a letter of support - yay! I've also passed the echocardiogram and stress test at the cardiologist with flying colors and the psychologist has declared I'm not nuts (well at least not enough to not have surgery :) ), so hopefully by next week I'll get a call from Dr. Mitchell's office with a date.
We are moving in a couple of weeks so I had told them to schedule it for after May 10th (but hopefully before the end of May) so I could be done moving heavy stuff, furniture, boxes, etc.
I need to buckle down and start watching my eating much better (which basically hasn't been at all). I'll have to follow a low carb/high protein diet for two weeks before the procedure but it definitely couldn't hurt to start cutting back now.
